I Was Talking To Some People About Horsepower That I Could Get From My V6 With Out Any Big Upgrades Cam ....supercharger....manifolds And Etc.....with Just Regular Parts Like Tuning... Gears... Intake ....headers.... Exhuast ..throttle Body ....underdrive Pulleys....what Do U Guys Think I Could Get From The Car....and In The End Is It Worth Putting The Money In ?
I take it you have a 99-04 V6 from the place the thread is in, I also take it your finger likes the shift button. Anyways......
You are not going to see any huge/major change in horsepower with bolt-on's. I wouldn't expect to see over 30 hp change with all the boltons in the world.

No, I didn't say that. You can get huge power from the 3.8 platform. Just not with bolt-ons. The only way you can get that power however is to tear into the engine and run boost most likely.

reason behind why im asking is there is a website Ford Mustang 3.8L V6 Performance Parts FREE SHIPPING!that says with simple bolts on... u can have huge power.....and i have purchased cold air intake and exhaust from the website but not noticing big changes...
You will get some gains but sites like that make money by telling you those things. Best thing to do is to inquire at great Mustang sites like this one.
Many of us have been through this so we can guide & provide more accurate info.

For me it was worth it because it was fun. I had a 99 v6 with a lot of bolt on's and suspension. Of course I changed things out a little over the years so it's not like I was dropping major money on it all at once. I can't stand driving a car that's stock so it's my opinion that it was worth it.
At the time I wasn't sure what I wanted with my car so that's why I added little things and I knew that I was gonna keep it for a long time. If I were to redo everything I would not go back to the V6 to build it up to the "car of my dreams". It would cost just as much money spent on the engine as it would all the supporting mods to handle the type of power I want and it adds up quick.
