Ok I am driving to Pascagula,Miss never have I seen a state with so many stangs as Alablama at night I swear it was every third car and every fith during the day.My only wonder is how do you get em up to speed and keep em up to speed with such a heavy police presence or even race em on the street. |

Hey, Miss, my home. The coast does have alot of cops. If you'll head further north in either state, the police coverage drops off dramatically.

Mobile and Montgomery had quite a bit my radar detector was going off every five,ten,or fifteen miles after Burmingham it go really light untill road contruction and I only saw two more after Gadsen none.

I live in hoover/birmingham now and its not very bad. Hoover has a ton of cops in huge ford expeditions but other than that there are not to many~

I lived in Birmingham and Mobile for 31 of my 46 years I have driven I-65 to and from probably 1000 times and have had only 2 ticket in that time and they were the same day I made it from Mobile to Birmingham in 2 hour 45 min with 2 pit stops in my Z-28

Hoover does not have the black GT interceptors anymore???? A few years ago they were like ants giving people tickets on I-459 near the Galleria

I wonder why... its called a speed limit... not a suggested speed... lol if you drive 10-15 mph over the limit all the time you will get tickets

thats why they make cbs,for those who like Trans Ams and mulletts,and radar detectors.I alway drive five or ten over but have yet to get ticketed at those speeds only when I was thenty or thirty over  |

I still today carry a hand held CD to keep informed of traffic or accident ahead on the interstate so if available I can make changes in my route to where I am going.

I have one in my stang wired through the fm antenna. Ppl never believe it, but yes, one of the best ways to keep up with police. Just ask the guys coming your way, seems to work better IMO than a radar detector.
