You know when sometimes against better judgment you do something anyway. Well about 8 months ago, I did a tune up on my wife’s car. I was at Advance Auto getting oil, cap, rotor and plugs. The guy behind the counter tells me the Bosch platinum plugs are on sale as cheap as the any of the cheap plugs and I said OK I will take them.
Well fast forward to yesterday, My wife was complaining that in the morning while the engine is still cold the car wants to go dead when she comes to a stop. So I look at the obvious. Air filter, MAF which were all clean I did use non- residue contact cleaner on the IAC and MAF anyway. So I inspected the cap and rotor and saw burn tracks in the cap. The rotor has a burn hole dead center of the rotor button. Now In am wondering why this is happening in just 8 months. So I pull the first plug, remember the plugs are 8 months old, and low and behold the platinum tip is gone. I pull the second plug and the tip is gone. I pull the 3rd one and the tip was there and on the 4th plug the tip was gone.
Moral of the story is as I have said before and I will listen to what I preach!!!! Bosch Platinum plugs blow monkey balls
I did it right and bought NGK’s which is what a jap car should have in it. Actually I would have bought Nips but Advance does not sell them

Bosch sucks on all cars. Hondas and Acuras both use NGK from the factory. Those are good plugs for rice burners.

Actually there are 2 types of Bosch products. First are OEM which are good and Aftermarket which is crap. If you go to BMW, Audi or Mercedes dealerships they carry a better plug that meets their standards but the aftermarket is pure crap with some of the most piss poor quality control out there.

Bosch sends the Dealerships the good stuff and autoparts places get the crap. I was reading a article a couple of years ago which said even motorcraft sends better quality controlled plugs to the dealerships and less quality controlled plugs to autoparts stores. I always inspect every plug before I leave a auto parts place. I look for flaws. In one case I was spending a day at at dyno and while I was there I changed plugs. The dyno run showed a drop in HP. We used a thermal heat detection gun on the each exhaust outlet on the engine to headers and one cylinder was almost 100* cooler. we took the plug out and therev was a tiny piece of metal protruding off the top of the last plug thread exposed to the combustion chamber. When we filed I filed it down reinstalled it and ran the car on the dyno again I gained 8 hp.
Moral of this story inspect the plugs you are buying before you leave the store.

^^^LOL you should have installed some ground wires playa, guaranteed 3-5hp to the wheels son!
I can vouch for NGK's greatness. in my GST, anything but NGK BPR7ES if you tried going over 14psi the car would hit a brick wall called spark blowout.

change the summer air to winter air. make sure you use a left handed screwdriver for that.

and rotate the air in your tires? stale air leads to bad performing tires.

I do rotate my tires every oil change and align twice a year or yearly depending on overall wear. I am due to take them off and clean everyhing I can reach ... living in an apartment sucks that way (I have a garage but its super small to what im used to)

I not only rotate the tires but I use preheated air to my secret temperature to provide amazing results.

TR6's in mine...unfortunately copper ones right now, but will be going irridium again here shortly.
Just did my plugs a month ago...but the rest of your list plus SC oil needs to be done by the first of the year...
My boost was ok...but I did have to add a pint of blinker fluid this weekend...
I did change out my air this weekend too...figured with the cooler temps I would get that summer air out and put in that pre-heated winter air so I could get the proper traction.
I didn't have a LH screwdriver though so I just turned my back and was able to make a RH screwdriver work....
Luckily I took out my muffler bearings and just welded it tight...no need to worry about those damn things anymore.
