275/40 up front...and 315/30 out back. You will have rub up front with the 275 tire when the wheel is fully turned. You could go smaller, but then you are risking curb rash on the rim.

I don't think he will rub with a 9" rim up front on a 275/40... even fully turned

I did in my GT...and a couple others do in theres. It really took a lot of turning...it had to be fully cocked...to rub, but it wasn't a "tear things apart" rub...
now, if the backspacing on the wheels is right, there won't be any rub...
None the less..you want to go 275...how often is the car completely cocked anyhow.

yea you might rub a bit depending on the backspacing but basically you dont need to be turning that much anyway. I think the 03 cobra has limiters that keep the wheel from turning as far as it does on the gt and v6 models (you can get these as well)

I found this in an operation manual from Ford - "If you find that you are lacking in your turning radius a quick tap of the go petal will usually solve this problem especially if you dont have the clutch engaged."
