I have found that the self adjustment is a POS... you can self adjust it if you know you. Its not hard but you have to get in a very not fun position (under the drivers side dash facing upwards) and hold pressure on the stock quadrent while easing the clutch petal up, it will force it to take up the slack in the petal.
