Did you purchase those rims already?
If so, how are they?

if traction is an issue with a 305 wide tire, you could go with nittos
if its a v6, it shouldn't be though. What kind of budget are you on. BFG KDs seem pretty nice. I think i read they are kind of noisy though. If you want something fairly cheap, the sumitomos i have are cheap and good tires. Do some reading on tirerack.

Pirelli's are overpriced and overrated. Listen to Spec and get the Yokos.

^^ I like having good traction, very nice looking set of tires, and tires that give me 40k miles of tread and for a cost of 120-125 each you cant beat them. (I have 275/40/17's for price comparison by size)

yea, those yoko's are nice. My friend has them on his turbo 300z. I do like my summitomos. They are not really sticky but I should get good mileage out of them. Don't get me wrong, they stick a lot better than stock, but i can't just dump the clutch at 4k and give 90% throttle and expect them not to spin.

I'm sticking with my bfgoodrich's, they hold extremely well from a stop and handling is a dream. I have a little over 5k on these now, about to do my first rotation and I haven't noticed any wear at all on them. I'm sure there's a little but by this time on every other set of tires I'm starting to see noticable wear by now. I'm definitely not driving easy on them either.

Very nice.
Their not too noisy.
And they cost me $700+ for the rears, and $650+ for the fronts.

yea, you'll have to take them somewhere to have em mounted and balanced. Then you can put them on.
