What year explorer for GT40P heads

I have a 1990 GT and i was woundering what years explorer had GT40p heads that would fit my car...thanks for your help

off the top o my head I believe 97-01

yea most 96's had actual GT 40's and either mid year or early 97's switched over to the GT 40 P's.

Hey man if I were you I would stick with your stock heads and just put money in them instead of wasting your money on a set of cast iron heads. There is a spring kit that Crane sells to rebuild your heads get a valve job and a port and poloish and your good to go. you will spend about 600 to 700 on everything. You wont be disapointed. STOCK LOOK
