5 lug conversion

I am getting a 93 gt and it has the factory 4 lug. What is the purpose of the 5 lug conversion? I probably will upgrade the brake a little but not that much.Are there more choices for 5 lug in wheels than the 4 lug?

most do it so they can run better looking wheels and have more options of those wheel styles. Its also stronger~
