I started to put my remote starter kit in my car yesterday... When i got under to start on it i noticed that there was a keyless entry already on my car made by carbine... What im wanting to know is if there are any wiring harness kits that i can redo everything under the steering collum so i can start from scratch without all this f-ed up wiring under there....Its all messy and unorganized.... Im lookin for the wires for the ignition and for the door locks... Anyone know of suck a thing or know any place nation wide that we might have here that could do it for me.... Im startin my resto project on all the small things so when i mod my car i wont have anything to worry about.... I would appriciate any help or comment you might have.. Thanks

If you are wanting to wire up a radio from scratch, just run your own wiring. It's really not that hard.
You'll need a power from the battery to the radio, a switched terminal (something that only comes on when the key is turned- you can tap into your fuse box and use a circuit that only comes on when the car is on) and a ground to the radio. Then just run speaker wires to the speakers. I've ran new wires to all of my speakers, really didn't take that much time, just tedious to hide it all correctly. I need to take the time to cut the factory harness out.

I re ran all my speakers and everything... its just a pain in the @$$ when you hook a new radio up or something.... with the harness you can do it in your house then take it outside and plug it up... This way u have to sit in the car and cram your hands in that small space and use come clamp connectors and electrical tape... thats why im lookin for the harness

The only place to get a new ignition harness is from ford, and it is not easily replaceable. You are better off just removing your keyless entry and removing the t-taps or other shit that they used.. It's not that hard to clean up a harness.
