this reminds me of a few months ago when a lady came into the store. she was not of the same color as me and she was talkin about her ancestors and slavery and whatnot. well, i slipped up and said "black" she quckly corrected me and said "african american" and later on in the convo she said "white" so i quickly corrected her and said "caucasian american"
she got offended

i am italian by blood. but i don't go around saying i am italian american. the closest i ever got to rome was in NE tx. and on the same trip i went through paris. i get so sick of hearing people say i am _______ american. no dumbfuck, you are american. if you want to use _______ so much, then go back to _______. people just say they are _______ american so they have that seperation so they can feel special. isn't that special.
