94 GT Conv Power Window Problems

I'm in need of some help. I took the door skins off of my car (94 GT Convertible) to repaint the accents and when I put them back on I've ran into some trouble. Neither door's power windows are working. I can't leave out the fact that I was also doing some rewiring behind the stereo, but i don't know if that had anything to do with it or not. Everything is hooked up fine, I checked the circuit breaker under the steering column and it's not getting power. is there a fuse/circuit breaker under the hood that pushes power to this fuse in the car? any help would be greatly appreciated. the windows worked fine prior to this. i'm hoping i just blew a fuse or somethin dumb... lol. thanks in advance.

I'm sure there is a fuse for it somewhere under the hood, I dunno which one it is though, I'll try and look it up.

Does your radio and such work?

the radio is run straight into the fuse box... not through the wire harness... the person that had the car before me did this. but it's not run to the radio fuse. i just checked the radio fuse and it's not getting any power either. i'm waiting on the owners manual to download now... dang dialup.

well... all of the fuses under the hood test good for power and none are blown, so it's gotta be somewhere between the box under the hood and the panel below the steering column... looks like i got some tracing to do. thanks a lot for your help. the owner's manual is definitely going to come in handy.

I the window switch getting any power?? The windows are referenced out of the drivers door so check there first.

well... i checked the wiring and the power locks have power (and work), the power mirrors have power (and work), but the power windows do not get power and don't work. the fuse under the steering column is good, but i checked for power there and there's no power getting to the power window fuse. is there anywhere else to check or should i just start tracing wires looking for a break somewhere? thanks for helping me out with this... i'm about ready to start pulling out hair or wire... lol.

You must check EVERY Fuse in the car. You could then pull the power window relay(s) and check for power there.
