i've heard that i can't put a true dual exhaust system on my car... is this true?? if so... how can i fix that... cause i really don't want to run fake

What size engine did your car have again?
If it's a four banger, you can't. The only way it to do would be a y pipe.

custom im sure. it would be best to find a dual exhaust adaptor to weld in place of the Y pipe (where the two header pipes merge together) or have one fabed to match up with any 5.0L catback that you would like.

for my 2001 v6 they had to cut off the Y pipe and weld on pipes from this cut off back to some mufflers (custom bent) and then custom pipe from the muffler to the tip, It also included some pos chrome tips (dont buy chrome tips) it ran me 300 bucks including flowmaster 40 series mufflers~
I wouldnt espect to pay that little, but 400~ would be a modest range. You can probably get the shop to do it cheaper if they only fab up connections to a cat back of your choice~ (they would just have to fab the Y to the dual exhaust connectors. You could probably buy a cheap H pipe take off and let them use the ends off of it to mount up to the cat back, probably run you 100 bucks for labor/pipe at the shop (I only use stainless, some shops dont have it as its more expensive)~

see if flowtech offers a header then tie into it from there so you can scaveng some more power and get a better sound then get some thrush turbo mufflers for the V8 sound
