Ya'll I would try to write out a little article in my own words, but I have to be to work at 3:00 so I'll just show ya'll the article. It says that there will be a Bullit, and a Boss Mustang in 2007 and that there will only be 1000 Boss Mustangs made. (But I'm sure they won't be all bought up by the time they hit showroom floors, or dealers probably won't mark the price up much, you know what good, honest people Ford dealers are) The Boss mustang will have a new N/A 5.0L Boss/Hurricane motor with 425-435HP. In 2008 the GT's will get a detuned version of this motor, and in 2010 there will be an all-Mustang released a year after the Camaro, and Challenger. But anyways basically I am writting an article so read the thing, and then read the article underneith it telling about the problems that GM, and DaimlerChrysler are having with their new Muscle Cars.
Good stuff.
This article came out of the January 2007, Motor Trend, on pages 18 & 19.

that is awesome. I am happy to hear these things from ford. A 425-435 hp 5.0 sounds great for the boss. I am also happy to hear the gt500 will be getting a "more extreme" look...so hopefully it will be a lot more noticable as a GT500.

Hmmm, I thought people would want to talk about this more.
I wonder how much the Boss Mustangs will go for. I bet the stealers...um I mean dealers will mark them up to atleast 70,000+ dollars, but probably more. How about $40,000 over MSRP, anyone else care to guess.

nice, maybe they will get the performance where it actually should be.... but when they bump it up im sure GM will be faster... ford doesnt seem to learn that lesson... doesnt matter if you are selling more right now if you dont look for the future you will go down the drain.

Thanks JROC! I've been on the fence about buying a 2007 GT or waiting to see what Ford would do in response to GM and Dodge. A 5.0 with 350-375 hp in the 2008 GT is just perfect for me. Now I have to just wait 6-7 months before I can order.
