I donno anything about them but if i had to guess i would say the H has better back pressure and the X has more of a straight flow being there isnt anything really stopping flow

Get whichever one you like the sound of more. The difference in power is negligible. Or get a Mac Prochamber and have the best of both worlds.

X all the way, if you like a nice higher pitch growl, H if you want a lower tone. I have a Dr. Gas X pipe on my 99 and I absolutely LOVE IT. It is a little pricey but worth every penny.

I've read an article with tests comparisons of h and x pipes...all brands. HP differences were 1-2 from eachother at most.
I like the x, but my car had an h on it when I bought it. I believe if the tests included other bolt-ons the x would do better justice to the improvements in HP.

an H-Pipe uses the pressure variances between the exhaust pulses to equalize the flow utilizing the center tube.
a X-Pipe physically sends both exhaust pulses into one-another thus equaling the pulses that way.
The difference in design is what makes the sounds so different from one-another in different setups and rpm ranges. a X generally is better once the engine is running in the mid to upper bands, whereas a H is good all around.
Project Eleanor has the stock Hpipe with Spintech Side exit, soon it will have Catless X pipe (yes, in california!) cause i want loud like the cobra was.
