I have a 1994 Ford Mustang V6. I found a wrecked 99 GT with the 4.6L V8 for cheap. I want to drop the V8 into the V6 because the V8 is pretty bad but the engine is in running condition? Everything I need should be on the GT already cause the main things I'll need are
-Engine
-Tranny
-Computer
-Rear end
Any tips, pointers and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

dont forget your gonna need all the little items like taking the cluster out and that whole ordeal.
I forgot what else but i think your gonna have to swap out the whole fuel system that whole returnless thing.
not a 100% sure
good luck though

be ready for a nightmare, its never as easy as it seems. You will need the computer and you will have PATS issues (ignition system/computer/cranking car/using your current key/issues)

You will need everything they said, and also the Hydrobooster system.

thing to keep in mind, its a lot better to take a v8 out of a close to the same year as urs.. I wanted to do a swap but its a lot of money. Wrecked2001 did one on his, but he put the V8 in the same body as the wrecked one (01 engine in a 99) u will need a 2nd car also during the down time

Don't forget about suspinion stuff, I am pretty sure the v8 and the v6 will have diffrent spring rates and what not. Or else it will ride like a pig
