would it be a bad thing to put 3.73 gears in my v6 or should i just get the 4.10?

whichever fits your needs best. A lot of people suggest 3.73s for manual cars and 4.10's for automatics.

so a 3.73 will do on my v6 auto. i really just want a difference on drivin it. im not really ever goin to take it to the track. i just want it to be faster. make a little difference. if u think its a bad move then tell me or if its ok to do.

gears will get you off the line quicker but kills your top end
cant lose getting gears though

if you do a lot of highway driving 3.73s would probably be better, otherwise, 4.10s will make more of a difference. Whichever you prefer

RING GEAR 1979-2006 U Ford, 7.5, 3.73, includes ring gear, pinion & pinion nut. This is a used unit.

you'll need to purchase a install kit, has all the small things those cost around a 100 bucks depending where you buy it at

first of all what do you plan to do with your stang?and second how many miles do you drive and what type of roads?thirdly is fuel economy an issue?

i want it to be fast and nice.not goin to the track ever.i drive a on roads that are usely 35-50 nothin more thatn that though. fule doesnt really matter.
