I was just wondering which intake manifold everyone runs. I'm looking at the Cobra and the Trick Flow. I've heard good about both. I was also looking at the BBK, but it was too pricey and I don't think it will fit under the strut tower.

I have a BBK Upper Intake Plenum, BBK 75mm Throttle Body, and a C&L 80mm Mass-Air Kit with TRUEFLOW Inlet Pipe.

My car also has a 4.6. Sorry didn't notice where this was posted at until I already posted my comment.

does the 93 cobra intake flow better than the 94-95. I know they should be the same.

I have a Edelbrock Performer.

The main difference between the 93 and 94-95 Cobra Intakes is the bend for the throttle body. That bend is supposedly part of the reason the 94-95s make a little less power.

Can't see your pick at work, but is that the Trickflow "box" intake? Looking at getting one of those when the 408 gets started being built.

Trick flow intake here. Actually, full trickflow setup(Trick flow track heat kit).

*edit* Also, when you start modding your car, you should find the computer out of a Fox body, or go to your auto parts store and buy one. They're like 100 bucks or so. The A9L(Foxbody) computers are way better and respond to mods unlike the 94-95 computers. I've heard a lot of guys actually lost hp with some mods.

the cobra will be a great intake for you. the best option really.

up untill the point that you put some crazy heads on there, even then a cobra or GT-40 intake will hold its own pretty well. BTW a GT-40 is nearly the same intake as the cobra but looks really pretty.
