Rear Bumper Guards

Can anyone tell me the exact location of the rear bumper guards? I may have bee sent the wrong brackets for mounting these guards, there are no extra holes in the apron.

What year mustang are you putting these on?

Sorry about that. It is a 66 GT and I am restoring it back to original. The brackets seem to be the problem. Any help is appreciated.

Ah ok, I thought you might be referring to a newer model. Uhm...I'm not entirely sure, if you can't figure it out before I make a trip to my gf's house I'll look on the 66 there and see if I can snap a few pics to help you.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, also I am wondering if the GT in 66 had these guards as an option.
