chevron with techron or what not its expensive, like 7-8 bucks but its pretty darn good. Other wise just something like STP fuel injector cleaner.

I would recomend Amsoil's P.I. Performance Improver Gasoline Addative heres the site http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/api.aspx. While its not over the counter it works far better than another addative I have tried like Lucas,STP,Valvoline just my .02 worth.

in the end if you do regular upkeep with this stuff any good brand will work fine. I put fuel injection cleaner in my car every oil change.

The best thing for higher mileage engines especially over 150,000-175,000 is the next weight higher oil so if you use 10w30 go to 10w40. This is with either regular oil or synthetic. This is done to improve lubrication of the bearing surfaces and rings as the wear increases clearance gaps of engine parts. The more viscous (thicker) oil increases the cushion oil gives to metal to metal surfaces. When you hit 250,000 miles it is best to even go to 10w50
