I have an 00 mustang gt and i am about to put a 2" drop on it (Eibach sportline kit) Now my question is will 275/40-17 fit in the back or will it rub. If so should i just go with a 275/35-17 instead.
Thanks
Joe

they will fit no problem...my buddy had 275/35/18 and they didn't rub....the 275/40/17 is the same over all height as the stock tire just a little bit wider but not wide enough to rub...i have 315/35/17 on the rear of my car and they rub once in a blue moon

I have 315/35's on the back of my 2002 GT. It also has a Steeda Stage I suspension kit that drops it 1.5" in the back. There's a ton of room back there.

Go with h&r springs, compared to most rates on the Eibachs they are simply better.

If H&R are better, then they must be some really good springs....i like the pro kit, it handles really well when im pushing it and it rides nice.....o well, next time im putting springs on a car maybe i'll give H&R's a try

No, they do not. Eibach does actually make some Ford springs though.

WTF thats retarded, I wont buy a spring that I dont know the rates of, thats like commiting to buy a performance car with out ANY information of what it has..... the rates are shitting probably (not much stiffer than stock) and thats probably why. I know I have researched some eibach springs and they were rated 450/240 or some crap like that.... if its not 650/300 at least... then they are not ment for handling. (not talking about coil overs)
