sry to keep askin you guys whatcha think bout the cars im finding, but i would like to see your honest opinion n help out a fellow brother. my step-bro found this one on auto trader and i will be checkin it out n test drive on tuesday. it looks like its competition orange, but cant tell. 18k miles and its listed at $16,444. gimme your $.02 . thanks alot for your help guys. (maybe spec will like this one. lol)

so when it says, factory custom paint, im guessin its competition orange??
oh, and if you look at the pic of the cars center console and look underneath the radio, it looks like it doesnt have the trac-cntrl button. wasnt traction control standard on GT's?

i checked out a black one yesterday, n they wanted to give me 6k for my v6 that has 27k miles on it, a small dent in the rear bumper/tailight area and doesnt have a stock right rear wheel. the car was listed at 16k and they said they would give me it for 14.3k. they tried to give me some bullshit about a slight ticking noise commin from my engine, but i didnt hear jack sh!t. i went to 3 other dealers and all of them apraised it n were gunna give me 8500 for it without even thinkin about it. the black ones' side n hood scoop were a diff color black than the rest of the car and there was a nasty buffer scratch on the right side that was down to the metal.
the internet add says its in pristine condition. but the way dealers describe things are always diff from consumers. soo.... im checkin it out on tuesday after i get outta work n ill let you guys know whats up... thanks again guys |

*** If the car doesn't have traction control it doesn't have ABS either, just something to think about
it was optional

and FYI though the price is nice on the orange one.. orange = COP MAGNET, just ask meteorachick, she's been pulled over more times than she can count... my dark blue one hardly got a second glance

abs isnt a big deal, ive never had it on any cars ive driven, so i wont think twice about it. yea but im not gunna not get a car just bcuz i might get pulled over, thats just stupid. its a very sweet color, n i dont think there are any stangs in my area in this color, that ive seen anyways. you also live in new jersey, cops r pricks in NJ. there a little more lienient in PA. |

yea, the black stripes would be a definite... im so freakin excited to go check out this car tomorrow. there arent any stangs in my area in this color, so findin this car is a real rarity. i mean its not really in my area, i have to drive a little over an hour, but i really dont mind... |

My dad's 2000 GT doesn't have traction control but it has ABS. What year did it start coming standard in?

i thought all gts 99-04 came with abs, just that the trac cntrl was optional. idk tho. |

My 02 doesn't have ABS or TC. Never really been a problem.
