I was having problems tuning my 89 GT setup. It was not performing close to what it should. The problem was the holley adjustable fuel pressure regulator broke and was leaking fuel through the set screw into the vacuum lines. After replacing it with a new regulator it is definately a 12 second car. A G-tech run produced a 105 mile per hour trap speed. Has anyone else had trouble like this with brand new holley parts?
I didn't have that exact problem or with a holley. But i had a BBK adjustable regulator and the o-rings would not seal into the fuel rail and it leaked gas all over the place. That definately sounds like a defect with that particular piece though, not a common occurance.

i had a holley but it didnt have a vacuum port.....worked fine but couldn,t trim the fuel back enough at idle without starve'n the top end.....i went to a mallory w/vacuum port and it is very reliable!!!
