I don't have a 408, but I do have a 399. Bennett super pro short block, 11:1, TEA Victor 395 heads, Custom Comp solid roller (.710 net valve lift), Super Victor 9.2 EFI conversion, SDS engine management with crank trigger timing setup, McLeod soft lok clutch and TKO 600 transmission.
It's kind of a weird combination. Based on NMRA hot street setups, but configured to run shootouts in Alberta where 91 octane pump gas, 30 mile prover cruises, and full DOT equipment are typically required. Shifts at 8000 RPM. Scares a lot of nitrous Chevys.
You can see it at
Tecmotion - Race Program . You guys have to bear in mind that the typical track I am running at has a normal DA in the 6000 ft range. This car would be a LOT quicker at sea level tracks.
