3.8 impala vs 3.8 mustang

My cocky ass friend wants to race me. He's got a 2000 impala with a 3.8, probably the same one as the V6 camaros. My stang is a 03 v6 auto with exhaust. Could i beat him or will i make an ass out of myself |

you'd win.......................i'm not exactly stock and i beat an 06 impala ss. and i launched after him. those are 250~hp 3.9 v6s

im sure they are pretty darn slow, probably high to mid 16s at best if not 17s

Most 3.8 W bodies (the impala 3.8 has the same drivetrain as a grand prix GT, Regal LS, monte carlo SS non/SC etc) they usually run high 15s in the mid-high 80 MPH range
Spector -> Are you thinking of the cop car impalas/ the base engine impalas? both of those are dogs
