Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and am seeking advice for my next modification to the engine on my 2006 GT automatic. Current mods are as follows: C&L street intake, BBK 62 mm twin TB, ssteeda UDP's, TCI streetfighter torque converter, JBA shorty headers, Bassani catted X-pipe and cat back, stage 3 comp cams, Ford racing 3.73 ring and pinion.
Current dyno numbers on mustang dyno - 321 rwhp, 309 rwtq
My next step is a steeda suspension package and aluminum drive shaft.
What can I do for more power? should I do aftermarket heads and if so what are the best heads to get? I could probably also go for some CMVC deletes. I want to do all the next modifications in one batch to save on labor costs.
Also any wheel and tire suggestions, I have alot of wheel hop if I punch the throttle. Currently still have the 17 inch stock alloys and tires
Any input from knowlegeable folk would be appreciated.

How about a Supercharger. Maybe a Procharger.
Roush wheels with some BFG G-Force KD tires are nice. Expensive, but nice.

Also will a supercharger work well with the bigger cams?

You can keep the Throttle Body with any Supercharger, but you won't be able to keep your C&L intake.
Yes you can supercharge your car and use bigger cams. I would ask whatever cam company you go with, which cam would be best to use with the supercharger you get, if you go that route.
If your looking for a lot more streetable power than what your car has, your going to have to go with some sort of forced induction.

ive heard many bad things about C&L anyway, maybe they have picked it up in the last bit but ive personally seen their issues on some friends cars. You will have to get ride of it im sure~ but its just the price you pay to add a supercharger.

Their intakes probably aren't too bad (kinda hard to screw up). But if anyone ever tries to give me a free C&L mass air meter... I'm going to lodge it in their nether-regions.

Why not go cheaper for no and get the heads you have ported and polished and maybe different valves?

I have a lot of the same questions...but I am a few steps behind you. I have an 07 GT and am looking at adding some of the parts you already have. Currently I just have Corsa catback exhaust. The next round of upgrades I'm looking at include bigger TB, CAI, shorty headers and a tune...
Did you see much improvement in power with the BBK TB?
Does anyone have an opinion on brand-names of headers or is it pretty much "you get what you pay for"?
Are Granatelli parts worth the $$ or should I stick with less expensive stuff ?
Good luck with the supercharger...I'm a couple years away from that...currently commute 90 mile round-trip to work so not going to invest in SC yet.

cammed06auto where did you buy your cams from & what actual stall did you get from a TCI convertor?

You asked what the best heads are, I have heard that livernois knows what they are doing, and they have a couple different stages, including heads that are made for superchargers, nitrous, or NA. By the way, different wheels are not going to help you with wheel hop, try getting some better lower control arms, ford sells the same ones that are on the GT500. As for tires, I have been happy with my Nitto Invo's. They look different that anything else and are good in the rain.
