Going to pick up a motor

Romeo block with about 31K on the motor. Guy blew the top off the #3 piston but no wall damage everything is smooth. It was a supercharged motor. I dont care about the internals because im going with a whole new forged rotating assembly. But any suggestions on anything else i should look out for I dont think i missed anything but suggestions always help.

how much are you paying for the engine cuz if your just wanting the block to start with and build your own custom engine. Lethal Performamce have Romeo, and Winsdor blocks for the 4.6l Sohc 2v for $319. which is about the same price or cheaper for wut u will pay for a used block. I'm thinking about getting me 1 that y i threw it out there. and you want have to worry about haveing problems with as u would with a used one. the block may appear fine but the could be something wrong with it that you can't see.
Remember that's just my .02 though.

Im only paying $100 for the motor. Its kinda hard to pass the deal up...thanx though if it doesnt work out ill prob end up with a lethal block then.

Btw does anyone know who makes a good strong forged rotating assembly for the 4.6 i want to go with like an eagle but i would like some other suggestions as well

agreed. ive been doing alot of looking and DSS has awesome prices for forged RA's and theyre great quality.

btw 319$ is a good price for a bare block, does that include shipping?
