Did any of you who subscribe to 5.0 Magazine notice the ad for red-striped tires for muscle cars. I'm at work and trying my best to remember who offered them. I'd appreciate your help. They were all the rage in the sixties. It will be interesting to see how people react to them in a new century.
God, I can't believe I said that. When I was born the hottest Ford motor was a flathead!

Well, maybe. Instead of a "white wall" they have one red stripe, sort of like the 1966 Mustang...just one stripe instead of two, though. They are by Nitto and are available only through Discount Tire Direct. You can see them on page 26 of the March 2007 of 5.0 Mustang and Super Ford.

I found a picture. It's not as good as the one in 5.0, but it will show what I was talking about.

Smurfin,
Love the Bill Murray picture. Did you ever see "Where the Buffalo Roam" that he did? Thought it was one of the funniest things I ever saw.
