Just wanted to give a quick review for ppl on these.
I bought the V6 Mustang offroad X pipe, supposed to be a bolt-in process.
Went to my exhaust shop this morning to have them do it since my exhaust is fully welded. We cut the old off, bolted this one up and realized the front 02 sensors were off by about 5 inches in length and on the wrong side of the pipe. If we would have mounted them there, there was a good chance for something ripping them off.
Since I already have the rear 02 sensors cut off in the computer we went ahead and plugged those up and plugged the fronts while we were at it. We then cut and welded in new 02 bungs in the proper places.
Sounds like we should be through eh? nope...
Upon getting it all bolted in place, we noticed it hung a good inch below my subframe connectors. This wasn't going to cut it since I am lowered and have enough problems scraping. So..using the torch we heated the pipes and bent them the direction they were supposed to be. Then we realized the transmission linkage was also preventing the pipe on the driver side from being put in it's proper place. We then modified both the bracket and the piping to solve this problem.
After all that work, got it welded in place and we're good to go. I love the idle, it's the sound I've been looking for for 4 years. Over about 3k it gets quite raspy, but it's not like I'm going to cruise around over 3k.
Overall, I'm quite happy with it, just wish it would have bolted up as it was supposed to.

When it stops raining and the cold front goes away I'll try to get ahold of a decent camera for a vid or two.

Listen to Kyle's car, those are the pipes he has as well...only difference is the mufflers
As for the installtion, kyle's were just bolt ins. No mods needed. Sounds like you received a monday morning special.

Like I said, I'll try and get a good vid of it sometime. I'm loving it though, and my neighbor hates me now lol.

I've got Pypes on both my Impala SS and 442, and love them. both are the X pipes and the quality of the welds and things are top notch.
Been a fan of them for a while. Also, if you wait and buy them at shows, they usually are a bit cheaper, and there is no shipping charge in case anyone is interested.

Flowtech Afterburners
Basically a super turbo muffler.
At 3k it kinda hits you in the face going raspy, but it calms back down over that.

On the vid I just took with my camera it sounds like any other V6. I'll try and get a good camera to do a vid with, or maybe you should just drive up here to hear it bum.

If you'll fine me a weekend when I don't have a test or project due the next week and I have nothing else planned that I may or may not know about, I'll be more than happy to entertain the idea of driving 6 hours to come let someone hear my exhaust.

I'll mail you a copy of all my assignments and test dates and if you can find one I'll be more than happy to come down lol.
BTW I'm taking 19 hours of class and have 6 final projects and 6 groups that we are starting on now.
I'll put it this way, I have 1 test and 1 case analysis due in cross-cultural mgt, 2 case analyses and a presentation due in Advance HR mgt, 1 case analysis a test in org theory, a test in my tuesday night class business policy, and actually I think it's a free week in Supply chain mgt.

There is a video of kyle's car on the dyno and he has the same x pipe I do. I must say, I didn't like the sound all that much after driving it for a little bit, but after getting a little road trip down I'm liking it. Sounds good cruising, doesn't overpower anything like when I had it dumped, and you can still definitely tell when I get on it sound wise.
