It doesn't list the mods that the STI has. If that thing is close to stock then the Cobra should have beaten it a lot worse than that, or maybe he wasn't trying that hard.  |

its all in the setup~ you just never know for sure how the cobra might be setup, 15psi with TT's usually is 700+rwhp

I highly doubt it was a "ricer" exhaust. If it is a 12 second car then it should have a full exhaust system and not a fart can.
btw I love cobra's!!

Eh.. Cobra seemed pretty slow unless the WRX was modded really well.
Either way I thought it was going to be a massive slaughter, instead they looked like half way decent races

at another board someone posted up his mods, their both heavily modded cars so thats why it wasnt like a total raping you know

so if they were both heavily modded how come in i think its the second race the low 12 sec rx7 wasnt really getting left to far behind?

The streetracing scene around here has almost died off completely, i think most into the scene have moved to lesser "anal" areas of cali or moved completely out of this shithole. I remember when i couldnt drive 5 minutes without someone revving on me, now i rarely see a car that could even be considered part of the culture, let alone one that is modded.
then again, a 1.5hr drive to fairfield, and it was a complete 180* from what im used to. Thats where i sold the cobra, and 5 minutes into town i was already been provoked twice, once by a civic and then again by a white supra, then later down the road a C5 revs at me through oncoming traffic and gives a thumbs up.
maybe his apex seals were going out halfway through the race
