ok I dont drive the stang more then maybe 3 times a month. i need some new tires on the front. (I run 245/45/17 on stock 99+ Gt style rims) The rears i have Firestone.
I dont want to spend Tons of money on new tires for the fact I dont drive it. When I do drive it, its not rain or snow so they wont be all season tires. Should I stick with name brand (goodyear, firestone...) or some out of USA brand?

but in reality you dont need a super expensive tire, you wont have traction issues with a lesser priced performance tire that will last you longer and look just as good~

i think the fact the regal is FWD is just why. any tire is gonna suck when you try to pull a car down the track while all the weight squats rearward. plus youre comparing a normal bfg tire on fwd to drag radials on rwd.
but for a v6 like fishers its doubtful he needs such an exotic tire to promote traction, so a more decent tire (not no sears specials) with longer treadlife is what i would go for as well.

Go with the Yokos. They are the best tire for the price in my opinion.

BFGs = Overpriced.
Nittos = Overpriced and overrated.
And I can say that because I've had/have both street tires and drag radials from each of them.

My BFG's were nicely priced. Actually cheaper than alot of the tires in my size. Definitely a good tire for the price.

I'm not trying to say which tire I think is the best, I'm just saying what I would buy. I wouldn't buy Yokohoma's unless I owned a Evo or something because they don't look right sitting on a Mustang IMO. I had BFG G-Force KD tires on my Roush and I thought they were very good, but they where pretty expensive. Toyo's are also good tires but I wouldn't put them on my Mustang either, the name sounds to ricey or something.

I ran toyo tpt's on mine, and those things sucked. I could spin them from day 1 with a V6.

Who says you need the KDW's? I have the G-force sports and they're a damn good tire with good tread life added in there.
