the main difference i feel is the shift points, no rev limiter and the no governor... plus, i don't need it do to the tune i had, was detonating like crazy... off of shell gas.

Hey hey hey, as an ex shell employee I would go with Shell over Exxon or BP any day. Mobil has good gas too though.

Here, shell = guaranteed detonation. Chevron is the only gas in town that doesn't detonate...
