I have a Steeda in my Cobra and I drove another Cobra with a MGW, and I could tell much a differents IMO. Both were a major improvement over the stock one and I love my Tri-Ax even though Steeda's not really my brand.
Most people will tell you that the MGW is better at everything except for Powershifting.(Apparently the Steeda has it beat there) If you can get the Tri-Ax for $90 get it, you will not be disappointed. If you have to pay roughly the same for both I would get the MGW as they are a very quality piece with beautiful machine work.

Go ahead and get the Steeda. I actually like it a little more because the 2nd to 3rd spring is stronger than the one in the MGW. Really, if I buy another one though, I'll be getting another Pro 5.0. But for that price, I'd get the Steeda.

the only advantage the steeda has is that it is more springy. It makes more noise and is a bit notchier and the reach sucks.

If you aren't keeping it much longer, then save the $90 and deal with what you have in there now...otherwise get an MGW.

I had a tri-ax in my 00 GT, and then again in my 03 cobra. I thought it was good too...now that I have an MGW, I realize how not good it was.

you can probably pick up an oem shifter from someone for extremly cheap or free if your stock one is broke.
