How about adding a KB supercharger,(I would assume a 2.6 or 2.8) and make a supposed 810hp(I'm guessing RWHP).
This bitch sounds angry. Is it just me or does it sound like GT500s want to keep pulling and hit their Rev limitor early. They sound like their still increase their power everytime they are shifted. I'm not hating on the GT500s, thats just something I've notiest. I've actually gain a new appretition for the Shelbys since I've gotten my Cobra.(Even though I still like Cobra's better. I guess its good that thats what I have then) If a 4.6L Terminator engine can be as bad as it is, think of what a 5.4L engine with Ford GT heads, and a more effitent SC can do. Hell if you got 650HP with KB's best supercharger from a Cobra with the stock engine you would be doing pretty good, and this thing is making 810.
I wonder what supporting parts the car has. Could a 1000RWHP KB supercharged GT500 be far away, and with the stock block possibly. :chin: IDK maybe a Turbocharged one will reach the 1000HP mark with relitive easily. Anyway making 810hp with a twin screw blower on a very streetable car is pretty damn impressive IMO.

EDIT: I just looked up the info on the car on the KB homepage. Their using their 2.8L SC on a stock engine. They made 764HP on pump gas, and 801 with race fuel using their stage 3 kit.

IDK how long it will last, but thats still pretty impressive. If I'm not mistaken the weakiest part of the GT500's bottomend is the rods. Maybe thats all they would need to replace, or maybe its all in the tune. :dunno:

It's in the tune and the quality of gas. people said the 03/04 cobra rods would blow up after 500-550 hp when they first came out too. They have proven to hold up to well over 600...with the pistons being the only issue due to clearance issues.
The GT500 will probably hold up, but, it will be nice to see one pop and have the rods prove to not support gobs of added power.
Man...I hate that car.

I wouldn't mind seeing one blow either, but I'm starting to warm up to the car a little. Still like i said I like Terminators better.
BTW I hate having to go to work right when the good conversations get started.

Exactly, people keep saying 600-650 is the max HP a stock GT500 bottom can handle. I want to see it, so far it seems like they will handle more.
