7" cobra R

Im lookin for the 95 style. I want to go with a smaller tire up front like a 225/40-17 could i use a 7" or would an 8" rim work just as well. If so where can i find them?

the OEM 95 cobra r's all have 9 wide from ford you talking about smaller in width or height

in width i want a 17" wheel but i just want it narrow so i can put a smaller tire on it

I dont see you finding a 7 inch wide 1995 cobra R wheel ive yet to see one.

why do you want to run such a small tire for the front?

If you are trying to go for the whole skinnies up front look, do it right and get some 15x6 drag wheels. Otherwise, it's just gonna look stupid (IMO, i.e. the opinion of the entire collective conscious of the universe).

ive always liked the look my dad had 225/40-16 on his fox and 275/40-17 out back and i just loved the look.

225s are going to ride like shit. I used to have 225s on all four 17 oem cobra rims and granted from the side they looked sweet and really low profile from the front the rims stuck out more then the tires and hit bumps hard. I actually ended up having one of my front rims bent from hitting bumps and stuff.

^^ the width of the tires does not determine its sidewall, they are different units of measure.

Hmmm I dont have a clue about the measurement stuff. All I know is that the 225s I had were tiny.
