Don't change the wheels, I love those on those cars. Actually have a friend who just put them on his 86 hatch, and they look awesome on it too.
If it was me I'd put it in rear suspension this time, then start looking at exactly what you want in the front and do that.

i think you should either
(1) get Aidan an exhaust
or if you don't do that then
(2) save your money ...you never know when you are gonna need it, trust me on that

Rear suspension. Ditch the UCAs though (they are useless). Go with MM for the uppers and subframes and get a set of Bilstein shocks and struts. Throw some H&R springs on there while you're at it. It'll be a whole new car.

you have cobra upper control arms arleady, (aka heavy duty ford uppers) so you have a good set to begin with (twice as stiff bushings)
or is that only 98+ stangs... I have a set of 98 cobra uppers if you are interested sitting in my garage and I have NO use for them

buying my buddies 95 Ninja EX500 probably next week with what i have now, then cleaning it up while i wait for the return to come in so i can get 900$ worth of nice ass gear.

I'd say just get some wider wheels and/or tires(drag radials to help with those 4.10's), suspension, and some axles.
