I found a good deal on a slightly used 01 Bullit intake, it only has 24,000 miles on it. Will it fit my car and is it worth it? I have a 99 Gt 4.6l 2V.

If 5 peak hp and a bit better mid range is worth it to you, you should see a tenth of a second (about what an exhaust or cai does) in improvment. I am not sure how regular upgraded upper intakes are for the 2V in terms of boost but probably about the same.

It will fit your car but in my opinion its pointless those intakes cost anywhere from $600-$800 so if 5hp is worth that much to you do it.

The parts that I have laying around to be put on are Patriot Performance Stage 2 heads, with Comp extreme energy stage 2 cams with beehive ovate valve springs. Slp loudmouthI catback, hooker longtubes, Offroad x-pipe, haven't had time or money to get these parts installed. But I do have a T-56 6speed, aluminum driveshaft, moser axles, 4.10 gears, and fenderwell cai and 70mm throttle body. I put all that in the first 3 weeks of owning it. I'm wanting to stay N/A.

Agreed, if he goes with FI or nitrous, it would be a great bit of insurance to go with that intake. Nitrous backfires/high pressures make 96-04 stock manifold GT crawl into the corner and bury their face.

I would def put the intake on it especially if you are gonna go n/a. With the heads and cams the intake is a very good idea. I may suggest even goin with a typhoon intake. Those are great for n/a and FI/Nitrous applications if you want to add later

I don't know about the typhoon intake, becuase i've heard that u might lose power with one. I'm might just wait until trick flow comes out with thier intake. I'm wanting to say it's gonna be around march or april when it comes out.
