i have auto and i started crusin at RPMs instead of speeds since i got gears...at 60 i run about 2200rpms...im assuming you have a auto since u are considering 4.10s right?
At 80 i think i am at about 2800 - 3000 rpms i dont remember i dont go that fast anymore dont like crusin at that high of RPMs...

You do not lower your top speed with gears on a "stockish" car. You lower your theoretical top speed. There's a huge difference.
You usually end up with a higher top speed due to the increased ability to overcome wind resistance. Unless, you previously could reach your top speed and fourth gear and now must go to fifth. Then I guess it's possible...
