They really need to fire whomever does the concept designs on these cars. Same shitty chrome bar in the front design, who the fuck wants an analog clock in their car? It's pretty stale.

I think they should make a AWD SVT version of it with either a SC V8 or a TT V6. That would be awesome for SVT to do something like that right now, they need a new car. They could call it a Taurus Evolution, or maybe a Taurus STI.

its not a bad lookin car. its an improvement thats for sure.. but im not going to rush out and get one. my main problem with it is that stupid clock in the middle of the dashboard. that needs to go.

ford needs to fire alot of people up at corporate. ford needs to look at dodge and chevy and why they are selling really well. Dodge just released concept Demon that will sport a 300hp I4 Turbo mated to a 6spd Manual with RWD. It will have the same mod abilities as the SRT4 which means getting that sucker to 450hp wont take much and aftermarket support is already there. plus IMO the car itself looks awesome, viper-esque front with a 350z meets 4g eclipse rear end and the side styling of the ME4-12.

Chevy has the Camaro at 400+hp which will be around 30-35k. Dodge has the Challenger at 420+hp which will also be around 30-35k. what does ford have in that price range? NOTHING. The GT is too underpowered to get into that category, and the GT500 isnt anything to brag about and it costs double.

Ford also needs to diversify its lineup. they dont have a small two door sportscar comparable to the S2K, Sky/Solstice, Miata. They dont have a I4 Turbo or AWD+I4 Turbo to compete with the evo/sti marketplace. They dont have a larger 4dr with balls like the GTO. theyre afraid to explore the possibilities because they still believe that nothing should top the mustang, which is why mercury could never make the marauder as good as they wanted, because it would have decimated the stang.
