Hey guys. I have a slight problem. The car will turn over, but wont fire. I've checked all fuses and relays. I'm getting power through the inertia switch and to the fuel pump. I run the codes, and I'm coming up with two. P0190, and P1233. I can erase them, but they come back. This all started when I was reinstalling my CAI. I started the car without the MAF hooked up. The car ran, but had a rough idle. I immediately new what I had done. It started back up and ran for approx. 10 min. then died. It hasn't ran since. It tries, but gives the impression that its flooded. Not sure if thats even possible, but running out of guesses. I guess it could be a fuel pump, but hard to believe at 40k. Any help would be great. Thanks

p0190 = FRP sensor signal low (I believe) p1233 = fuel system disabled or offline (I believe)
I COULD BE WRONG, I'm running off memory of a year + ago, but 1233, works off the fuel level sender, and might (might might might) be tied in to the fuel pressure sensor... make sure the sensor on the fuel rail is plugged in (I don't think it'd cause a no start, but p0190 is a check for the Fuel Rail Pressure sensor -- PCM's checking for presence/ground of the 5 volt reference voltage, it trips this code if it falls below a certain value...
If you have a test light it couldn't hurt to check all your fuses...

I had problems with the P0190 in my car. Try unplugging the sensor and plug it back in. Also, check to make sure all the vacuum lines are still connected. If the vaccum line to the FRPS is not hooked up, the car will not run.

Ok. I had a fuel pressure gage that I bought from jegs mounted directly to the fuel rail. The fuel pressure sensor mounted on to of the distribution block that the gage came with. I removed the gage and block, and now the car starts, but won't stay running. It sounds like I have a bad miss now, Maybe I fouled the plugs. I tried putting the program back to factory default, but now my battery is dead. Its always something. Thanks for the input so far. You guys made me think about the fuel pressure gage.

I got the car to stay running, but missing bad. I think I'll try a new set of plugs. They may be shot. I'm getting a code saying bank 1 is too rich. That leads me to believe its the plugs. Hey wht2002gt, we have a pretty good mustang scene here in Dayton. I let you know when our next event is. Always nice to hear from a local.

Try pulling them out to see how they look before you try replacing them... it won't take long to fire off fuel buildup heh..
make sure the MAF is plugged in with your new CAI... did you have a screen in front of your MAF?

Nothing I've tried seems to be working. I put new plugs in thinking I may have fouled them. I know I'm overlooking something stupid, but I can't seem to find it. Any suggestions?
