Vacuum booster

Hi everybody,

I get a weird trouble on my 2004 Mustang and I don't what is the cause.

Last October I went to the dealer with no brakes the pedal seemed welded beneath the dash.

Car still on warranty 38 000 kms at that time...

They changed the vacuum booster and the check valve

Last week the same thing happenned... 43 000 kms

The warranty ends on April the 27th

Those darn parts are not covered on the warranty extension...

250.00 $ + labor + taxes every 6 months plus the "No Trust" feeling each time you need brakes is not so funny.

That's the why I would like to know if somebody knows what should be the cause so I could tryto make pressure on the dealer to fix it before the warranty finish.

I would carry it back and try to get something in writing saying they will cover the labor/parts if it happens again in x number of miles. It probably won't happen, but it's worth a try.
I've never personally heard of this problem and haven't run into it with my 02 so I dunno what to tell you.

Thank you very much, I'll try that, anyway they have to give a warranty on the job they do. I don't know for how long...
