might be worth tearing the rear apart, measuring everything, making sure all the specs are good + check to make sure the gears are in good shape (IE not out of round/etc) do you have any noise along with this? or just the vibration?
Try a different gear if its getting to be that bad?

4.10s FTW... I have a minor vibration at about 80+ which i think is the driveshaft....I would take it back to the people who did it with the recipt and take them for a ride and make those mother fuckers fix it... I have never heard of this problem before and on here you have just about heard of it all...

one problem with that might be -> a shop can't 'legally' road test a car over the speed limit, so they won't be able to 'duplicate' the problem, good luck getting them to go for a ride with you...

Just tell them you have this vibration you want to show them... They dont have to know what speed its at till you are already moving...

I know my dads 2000 GT does this same vibration with 4.10's. It does it 75-80 as well. He doesn't drive that fast so it doesn't bother him but it annoys me. It vibrates so bad that i cant see out of the rearview mirror. I told him to make sure the drive shaft was put back in the same way it came out.

it is a lot easier to check the gears in the solid axle.....IRS is a whole new world....so the only other test i am going to do to check before i take it to have tore down...
on svtperformance one guy did all of what i did..but added a irs differential kit that allows the adjustment of the pinion angle....so i asked around a bit....my car is lowered and new gears and driveshaft..????..maybe the pinion angle changed....IDK....so i went and bought some of the spacers that you put in the springs(mostly seen in 4x4's)...if i place them in it will put my cars stance(in the rear) back to stock....if the vibe is gone-------pinion angle it was....
if its not gone........i will be paying to have it tore down and rebuilt...i guess.....
but i truly think it is something with the gears......i never had this prob until i had the gears put in...so...what am i suppose to think...
thanks for the input!!!

once you have a shop fuck up something that bad, would you really think they have the ability to diagnose a problem like this?
its just like the paint with my car, after the 5th time of going back you just kinda give up and realize that its obvious they are not capible of doing things right or else it wouldnt have gone back for a 2nd time in the first place.
