Im pretty freaking excited...Im dropping my car off tomorrow and I should have it by next week sometime. I ordered the polished kit cause im going to take it to a few shows and stuff. Ill post pics and hopfully ill be there during th dno tune to videotape it. WAHOOOOOOO. Too bad my tranny is going to crap soon but whatever lol

It's Vortech way of saying super quiet. It's a more quiet blower that's more "sleeperish." Procharger calls their quiet blower silent drive or something like that.

nah you have a Tremec, while its not the best feeling tranny, its that way for a reason, it can take quite the beating.

I dont know what the numbers will be. Im not going to push too many pounds cause its my daily driver. My tranny is slipping a lil bit and it grinds going into second...so im going to get it rebuilt at the same time...Prob wont have the car for a while

If you have a manual, it's not going to slip, the clutch is.
If it's a stock motor with a vortec and 8 lbs or so on a dyno jet, i'd put it around the 360-370 range with like tq.

i have a question for anyone to answer;
i have a 1997 gt and i was wondering if the pi heads for my car are the same as the stock heads off a 1999-2004.
could i get used heads and intake plenum off a 2000 gt and use the on my 1997 and get the same "40-45" more horse power as stated? |

in a nutshell, yes the heads are the main reason for the power increase in 99-04 4.6s
