Looks a little doofy with that front grill....other than that, doesn't look too bad. Would be nice competition for the Ford Cobra (the 2 seater) concept that was created a few years ago....if they would only make the damn thing already.

Its almost certain that when Dodge does a concept, it gets made. I am sure they will dial it down and refine it a bit before it gets done, but I like it. I'd drive it. They need to cram a Hemi in it.

i think it looks pretty sweet. even better is if they go the srt route it will get 300hp 2.4 I4 Turbo thats been proving itself time and again in the srt4 world for making gobs of power and torque for a cheap price.

I concur. I've seen too many of those motors pop with minimal mods to get any attention from me.
*Idea for a new thread*.

lol want to make everything a argument dont you?
the srt4 motor is a very good motor, but sadly its attached to fwd which puts a huge in my book. RWD is just so much funnerest than fwd, as its great for all around. FWD is only good on the freeway where you can get traction with that much power, AWD is only good from a dig since you need lots of power to make up for drivetrain loss and drag, RWD is comfortable on both grounds.
your 5.0 cant make 500hp without touching anything internally can it? that would be 100hp per liter. that little 2.4 in a srt4 can do almost 200hp per liter untouched. you dont have to like the car/motor to see its a pretty awesome feat of engineering.
it takes alot of stupidity and bad tuning to kill them. both of which are not the motors fault, its user error. if i increase all my timing and take out all the fuel i can with the Diablo dohickey and go out one day and melt some pistons, i guess thats the motors fault right?

You are comparing an NA motor to a turbo motor. Talk about apples to oranges. And yes... you can make 500 reliable hp with a small turbo and a good tune on a 5.0. and it will make a hell of a lot more tq than that pesky little 2.4.
*edit* I have said it before and I will say it again. HP to displacement ratio is a ricers argument tool. You could imagine a motor that has a 5 to 1 ratio of hp to displacement, but guess what if its 20 ci, it only makes 100 hp. Doesn't impress me a bit.

Agreed, the last "450ish" hp i saw popped like a kernal in the microwave. And that was with a tune, t3/t3, big front mount, plenty of fuel, and a very responsible owner. His last race he took the motor apart and found 3 of the 4 pistons cracked and the 4th had a chunk missing.

im not the one who brought it up..........
could be very true, but then again, this tread is about a DODGE DEMON. we are having a discussion about dodges. zim is the one who comes in here with his "Almighty 5.0" jargen. im just simply stating that if they do go the srt route it will be quite a beast.
yeah well its sad when people only think that torque/hp can be achieved with displacement. the fact is displacement means jack shit in todays world, coming into a dodge demon thread with 5.0's on your mind is pretty retarded.
internally numnuts. you dont have to touch ANYTHING inside the motor, no forged internals (already has it), no better studs to resist the head lifting off the block at higher boost levels, no having to replace the head gasket cause its only designed for sub 20psi levels. nothing about the motor from the oil pan to the valve cover needs to be touched in any way.

Where do you get that im coming in here with "almighty 5.0 jargen"? All i said is you can have gobs of power and tq from a 302 for cheap kinda like you're saying it about the srt's motor.
And you know what, you actually CAN put 500hp to a 302 on stock internals but you know what its gonna do? The same damn thing an untouched srt4 will do at 500hp, BLOW UP. You know why the srt's motor comes with forged shit from the factory? Cause if it didnt it would blow up already. Kinda shows you what they expect the limits on those things to be huh? Have to put forged shit in to make there what, 275hp or whatever they make? Sad. Id much rather have a n/a car making the same power as some turbo 4cyl
