Well today was such a nice day. upper 60s, sunny, etc. Beautiful day. I decided to be a little productive when I got home.
First off I finally dragged my dinning room table back out to the garage and started staining it.

only problem is there were a couple places on the legs where some paint or something was on it that I couldn't/didn't see when I was sanding it down. Didn't see it until after stain was applied

kinda pissed me off, but oh well. only thing i can do is sand it back down again on some spots and restain, or live with it, probably live with it.
and so everyone remembers, this is what it looked like when i got it

turning out to be a good looking 20 year old table.
Also, I sat and tried deciding on what exactly im going to do with this case. Goverment decided they didn't want them so as we are getting them and getting the parts out we get them. They are shipping 3 pallets worth back to us to distribute. I will probably use some of the ones I get to ship computers when people buy them, and have them put down a deposit or something until they get shipped back. Rest probably for trail use and attic storage. Cause I anticipate getting 10-15 of them for myself

pressurized, air-tight, water tight...excellent cases

probably get a pop rivet gun and rivet the latches the other way cause at its current way the "lid" is on bottom. Makes it hard to open when you have it on top.
then i moved over to my rear bumper. Got out the grinder and started getting the surface rust off it from it sitting bare metal for 2 years now. maybe on day ill find someone with a welder to lengthen the brackets for me. then shot a coat of black on it to help protect it, also it will be my base for when i get some more OD, tan, and brown paint.
now if Chris can just start getting a good paying job we can start building this and get it in his bronco
then I started messing around and playing with the night mode on my camera...my garage...i love saying that, my garage, though it really isnt mine...stupid rentals
that is all for now. I gotta go into town and get my sliders out of the back of Dana's old truck that my sister-in-law totalled last night, so they are at the Ford dealership right now, but that is the plan for this weekend..hell its only been 3 years for those or so that I have had and not on the truck.

must be it...speaking of avatars, I think it is about time to change mine up a bit. I have had a picture of myself since Apr 05 as mine....damn almost 2 years ive been hanging around a mustang board and havent owned a mustang...had a maverick, is that close enough?
I am going to put the second coat on today of stain..after that I dont know what the hell I will do to keep myself outside. Maybe ill flip the bumper over and paint the back side.
Speaking of which, anyone around Huntsville have a welder or acess to a welder. I need the brackets on my bumper fixed. they are too short. And really good drill bits to drill the holes, 1/4" steel sucks balls for drilling
