When you said, Interesting what blowers do top fuelers run, you meant that as if you prove what kind of blowers are best for everyone else. Atleast that is what it sounded like to me. Which is why I said you can't say because what top fuel cars use is what everyone else should use, because the fuels are totally different. Which is why I said that roots, screw, etc are not the best form for making power without a lot of heat. And if your going by what can be driven to the track run X times and go home, you should check out the pump gas drags competitors. All were turbo, centri sc'd, or nitrous, and some both. 30 mile cruise in high temp high humidity, in the city, then straight to the drag strip to run, on DOT approved tires.
What you need to understand is that things break in the world of single digit speed. Those guys running 10's on a stock IRS, I guarantee aren't out every weekend racing and/or competing in events. If they were they would have a trailor/tow vehicle because something is going to brake, period. Fast cars break stuff at some point no matter what. The reason "that car(in general race cars)" are trailored is 9 times out of ten it's just not logical to drive long distances to run it, or as in your case, it's just plane not legal to drive it on the street out there in cali.
