Mach 460 Questions For Nooob

Well when it comes to car audo i think im above average But when it comes to the 460 im kinda of lost. I want to know if i can change the stock speakers to some aftermarkets right now i just want to switch to something better than stock till i have extra money for a better sound system and install the works but that wont happen till about 4 or 5 months so i want to know what type speaker do yu recommend some 2 ways.
By the way its a 1994 Gt Vert.
Any info will be helpfulll.

The problem with replacing speakers in the Mach system is finding set of speakers to run at that ohm. I want to say the mach system runs at 3 ohm, which is a very odd and hard to match number.

If you are really serious about improving the sound over and above the mach system, I would recommend running a completely new system and ditching the mach all together. The mach is a good system by itself, once you begin to add components it will not match up as well as a well planned system.

the problem i ran into with changing speakers is mine would cut out if i turned the volume up above halfway. luckily i only installed 2 speakers. but i ended up putting the stockers back in until i can change the entire system.

Im going just wait about month saving money i have a friend that owns a shop but doesnt install and said he would sell things to me the price he gets some. On my old sixer i got 2 KIcker 12 INCH L5s with individual box and a 2,000 watt amp for 450. So thanks for the advice ima just wait and ditch the 460.
