Today I went and bought a Meguiar's - Smooth Surface Clay Kit and some Meguiar's - Gold Classic Wax. My question is the clay kit comes with a small bottle of Meguiar's - Cleaner Wax which I did not know when I bought it, so would ya'll just use the wax that came with the kit or disreguard it and use the Gold Classic. I have never used a clay bar on my car before or use either of these waxes to my knowlegde. Maybe I could use both waxes.

its just something you can use if you want to, just wax it with what ever you want. If you REALLY wanted to go a good job wash it with dawn, clay bar it / rubbing compound it wash it with dawn again then put which ever kind of wax on it you wish making SURE you do not get a drop on any of the black trim or black plastic... also remember those head lights and tail lights they need protection as well. Also remember the black plastic stuff too. Meguiars makes an interior cleaner that will do good on the black stuff.
....thats why I like my stuff... it goes on EVERYTHING no need to avoid the black trim or windows or anything lol.

I used Meguiar's Gold Classic wash, then Clay Barred it, the used the stage 3 polish,(I skipped the stage 2 since I clay barred it) and then I waxed it with Meguiar's Gold Classic liquid wax.
Here are the results, but I sorry my camera has some really crappy image quality.
Before wash:
After Clay Bar:
Finished:

tip, after you wash ur car, take some cheap tire spray (the foam spray kind) then it will be nice and shinny when ur all done. (dont spray it after u wax the car cause it will get on ur paint.)

 god i miss my redfire. in the right conditions the orange comes out and with the micas in the red its almost better than anything else.
this was after a good days claybar, Meguiars NXT followed by Zymol if i recall.
NXT and Zymol are both good products for hand applications, but if using a orbital (like a portercable) then i will stick with a pass with Optimum Polish, then a quick over with Optimum Poly-Seal and then Natty's Blue hand applied.

I'm not that impressed with the Zaino products. Can't tell any difference between my bottle of zaino and my meguirs gold class paste. To be honest, most of the time I just use turtle wax paste and call it done.
I need to get some natty blue paste and go at the car to be honest...

You can tell the difference when you wash your car with dawn after waxing it with zaino...the wax doesn't come off like all other paste type waxes.
Also, zaino works best with multiple coats...not just one. A single coat, ok, it may look the same as a freshly waxed car with brand x....my car has 15 coats...and the red looks a lot different than another redfire in town when sitting next to it that is waxed with regular wax.
Also, you don't get wax build up with zaino....it just keeps getting a deeper and deeper shine.

+1...yeah it def. looks better with multiple coats. And it's not hard work...no elbow grease needed. Zaino is AMAZING! Just check out their website...testimonials pictures show you how awesome this stuff is.
