I was sittin here and our shipping guy told me to come outside and smoke with him.. He needed to ask me a question. He is thinkin about gettin a white 94 gt. He asked if there was anyway to put a cummins deisel turbo on it. Then he pointed out to me that we have like 30 of them on the shelf. Then i started thinkin if there is a way im gonna do it because i can get a turbo for next to nothing.. Just thought i would ask.. Then again this might be the stupid question asked on ME so i might get an award.

you need to get a turbo that matches your car... not one that matches a high torque, low RPM large displacement motor...

The turbo might be so big that the motor might not ever be able to spool it up... We need more info on the turbos.

we have several diffrent kinds...i notice that some are smaller than others..ill get the specs on the one that is the smalled in size out of the others

well the whole diesel turbo/motor deal is becoming big over in the Vdub world right now.
Might wanna see if they actually take a diesel motor and swap it or what honestly

3800709RX that is the cummins part number... im having some trouble finding some specs on it.. Maybe someone on here might know a way to find some info.. but is there really anyway to make it work... it just doesnt seem like it could

I went to the cummins web site and did a search using that part # and the search found nothing cummins uses Holset turbo and the part# all start with a H

Im not goin for a desiel engine... He just asked if a cummins t/c would work on a 5.0

So do you think the one we have her for a 3.9 would work on a 5.0? I tried to call the manufacturer and see if i could get any specs on it and all i got was
