ok , i just want to see how it looks under the hood because right now i have a BBK cold air intake, but i dont like to take of the wheels to see if i need ti change / clean the filter. and maybe buy a k&n intake
question. with the k&n intake i will notice a change in sound or performance. i just curious because the BBK is long ram(cold air intake) and the K&N is a short ram( filter under the hood with a heat shield
As far as sound, you might have a little less noise (whistle), but performance wise it'll make no difference.

You're not gonna see any real gains/loss by having or not having an intake. I like the look and the sound, that's the reason I have one.
For what I've paid for both of the one's I've had they've been worth it...then again I have half the price of a new one in two of them.

You will not see a difference in performance in any of them, as long as they connect with a filter to the throttle body, you will get the same power.
Just go with one you think look good. If you do get an ebay one, go ahead and upgrade to a good filter (K&N or similar)
