Hello, new to the site, heard great things about the place. Like your cobra Spector V. I have an 03 sonic blue pony with custom exhaust.
I am looking to buy aftermarket rims. I have been looking at the 17x9 and 17x10.5 black bullits at American Muscle. They recently sold out of 17x10.5 and won't get any for another six months.
I started looking at the same wheels at American Racing. Are they good wheels? Would they fit my 03 V6 without rubbing on the sidewalls, i know they'll clear the dual exhaust.
Thanks everyone, any additional tips for perfomance and appearance would be great.

Welcome to the site. I'm no wheel expert but I'm sure you'll get lots of advice here.

They're fine. If anything, I noticed better traction and handling just because the tires are forcibly fatter. I run 245x45x17's on black bullits. Careful though, when you do curb rash on the rims, it makes you want to cry for the first time. Now, I did notice a little slow down after getting them. The 25% UDP took care of that.

AFS Wheels is another good wheel company. Reasonable with good quality wheels and finishes.

If American muscle has the parts your looking for, any parts, they're a good company to deal with so don't hesitate to order from them.

also check your local rim/tire shops they bargain many of times and can order what you need so you don't have big boxes at your door.

The 315 will work on the back....275 is a good size to be running on the front with 9 inch rim....im running the set up you're talking about on my car and i love it (except i have the FR500 rims)....i will say that the massive rear tires will take away some of your acceleration though

I'm not totally sure why you would need 10.5 in the rear of a V6 unless you are making some sick power out of it. Don't get me wrong, I love staggered and I am running 20x9 front and 20x10.5 rear of my 05 GT. You really only need that wide if you like to drag the car and are big into straight line acceleration because your handling will change a bit and some people don't like to sacrifice that. Anyway, I went with the AFS set up and got a damn good deal on them.
